This is a journey through the spooky woods with knights on unicorns and lots of mutual pining. There are also gods and magic and enchantments and some very misguided folks.Prityal and Delf are both very bad at communicating, so the Big Misunderstanding is at play through most of the book. Delf earns the epithet "the Most Stubborn," that's for sure, although Prityal is no slouch in that department, either.I enjoyed this one immensely and look forward to rereading it. R. Cooper is branching out and it is great! This book is lovely and steamy and full of all the pining (things I love about R. Cooper's work), AND she embraces, with whole hearted celebration, the gender spectrum in all of it's lovely nuances. This is why I read R.
